The Engadine

The Engadine

An average of 322 days of sunshine every year, the famous Maloja Wind, four lakes and snow-capped peaks everywhere you look have all made the Engadine a favourite destination. The Upper Engadine valley is between 1,600 and 1,850 m above sea level and extends from Zernez all the way to Maloja. Three languages are spoken here: Romansh, German and Italian. Nor are the climate and scenery any less varied.
